Android Tablet Specifically for Military

Again I quote from CHIP.co.id - techlnologi increasingly rapid development and when the United States troops prepare to bring Android phones to the battlefield, the Russians are working to make the military a special tablet based on Google's operating system.
When the consumer version of the tablet is being circulated, the main consumers of these devices - dubbed romos - Russian Ministry of Defence is expected. Based on information from researchers Andrei Starikovsky, which has recently been presented the latest designs to the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, the OS of the tablet will have all the functions Andorid, but without the concerns about privacy as common as a result of data collection by Google users.

"We did not include Google's market in it for security reasons," the news agency said Starikovsky ITAR-TASS.
The device will be made in Russia - although with many components from the outside - and will reportedly be sold for 15,000 rubles (about USD465). Users will be able to install applications from specific market romos, and versions for the troops will be distinguished from regular consumer version because it has anti-water and shocks. The tablet is scheduled to be launched in Russia at the end of this year.
